Spend a full day in the "backcountry" and paddle out to the Snipe Keys, the most exciting and remote keys in Florida.  Home of large rookeries of birds, stunning backdrops of the Gulf of Mexico, and both hard and soft coral, the Snipe Keys are a kayaker’s paradise.

We will provide transportation from Key West to our launch site and then back again to Key West when our tour comes to an end. Once we arrive at our launch site we will familiarize you and provide you with the equipment necessary for sea kayaking and give you an informative kayak/safety lesson. Once we are all comfortable and ready to launch we will depart on the first leg of our day long paddle through tidal creeks, mangrove islets and across shallow grassy flats within the Great White Heron National Wildlife Refuge. While on the water your knowledgeable and friendly naturalist kayak guide will educate you about the surrounding region and wildlife while helping you further improve your kayaking skills.

Approximately half-way through our paddle we will take a snack break.  After our refreshing break we will resume paddling and begin our trip back.
