Sunset Tour…

Departing during the early evening our sunset tours are perfect for guests who would like to experience the sunset in a natural setting. These spectacular tours begin by embracing the calm early evening weather and end savoring the tranquility and romance of some of the most breath-taking sunsets you may ever see.

We leave from our kayak docks at the Port of Edmonds (right next to Anthony's), just minutes from Seattle. At our launch site we will introduce you to kayaking, provide you with all of the necessary kayaking equipment and give you an informative kayak/safety lesson.

Once we are comfortable and ready, we will launch onto the protected waters of the Puget Sound (your feet stay dry). While on the water your knowledgeable and friendly naturalist kayak guide will educate you about the surrounding region and wildlife while helping you further improve your kayaking skills.

We will paddle along the beautiful coastline where you can view a variety of shore birds.  You may catch the eye of a playful harbor seal or witness a bald eagle soaring overhead. Half way through the tour take a brief floating break before heading back. We end this romantic tour watching the sunset behind the Olympic Mountains.

Examples of some commonly seen flora and fauna: Bald Eagles, Pacific Harbor Seals, Great Blue Herons, Pigeon Guillemots, Cormorants, Sea Stars, Sea Anemones, Jellyfish, Pacific Madrones, Douglas-firs and Cedars.

Recommended items to bring: Layered clothing (T-shirt, sweatshirt, windbreaker or an outer shell), long pants or shorts, sunglasses, sun block, hat, lip balm, comfortable foot wear, water, a sack lunch/dinner, a camera (may possibly get wet) and a great attitude.

No experience necessary.
